Beginners Hints / Tips Cheat Sheet
Find a good space with no wind and soft landings, If windy, go into headwind, careful above tree-line
Keep blades squeezed on tight, and free of fractures, hair, grass etc. Check start / stop evenly
Get used to holding a steady low height, eg 2 -3 metres
Keep all trims on Zero whilst learning. Imbalance is often due to blade damage or air currents (very near ground, or in a small room)
Expect drift with air currents, especially indoor (gets turbulent) or near ground
Try take off from hand to get a feel for throttle sensitivity, and avoid “ground effect”
In mode 2, fly directly away from self, for natural, intuitive orientation on right stick….
the drone will match F-B, L-R movement exactly
